In the picture above, you’re looking at several of the most successful recipients of NORWAC’s diversity scholarship. Mecca Woods and Colin Bedell published astrology books in 2019. Chartreuse Tembo Barriere has written for such popular sites as tarot.com and Astrostyle.com. Janelle Belgrave regularly writes astrology columns for multiple media outlets. And 2019 fellow, Alexis Duong is Social Media coordinator for the oldest online astrology college, the International Academy of Astrology. Tracey Rogers was recently featured on CBS as an astrologer to talk about the 2021 Superbowl. And Cameron Allen has established himself as a medical astrologer with expert understandings with plant medicine as well.
NORWAC has quickly become one of the most diverse astrology conferences in the world, along lines of gender, sexual identity, class and race. It exploded as a regional conference in 2018 , eclipsing all of its previous records for attendance. And then as a virtual conference in 2020 it set a new standard for virtual astrology conferences with nearly 1000 people in attendance.
Thanks to people willing to make it happen.
But there are plenty more to reach and NORWAC is ready to do more there.
