A Fresh Look at the (Lunar Node) Bendings…

In a little under an hour, I break down for my students a different way to determine and understand the crisis points of the lunar nodes called “The Bendings.”  I supply four chart examples and source materials as well.

I welcome your feedback and thoughts. For more on my thoughts on the lunar nodes in general, click here.

Codes to unlock the stars, not to be locked down by them. “Ressentiment” Longer than usual intro. Busy heavenly dialogues this week. “Ressentiment” was one of those words I used to love to wave around in my 20s. I was steeped in the bad writing of postmodernism at the time. Words like “ressentiment” had a […]

SkyCode Horoscopes for February 20-26, 2017

Codes to unlock the stars, not to be locked down by them. “Gone Fishin’” About a decade ago, someone told me about a form of healing called “Soul Retrieval.” If you Google it, you’ll likely find what I’ve found. There’s a good amount of talk about using shamanic techniques to retrieve pieces of your soul […]

Codes to unlock the stars, not to be locked down by them. “Givers, Receivers, and Takers” Friday night’s lunar eclipse is the first set of eclipses in courageous Leo or altruistic Aquarius that we’ve had since 2008. The Leo-Aquarius axis prompts us to become better givers. From Leo, we can learn the beauty of giving […]

Eclipsed at JFK

Last Thursday, the day before our recent solar eclipse, I was eclipsed at the JFK airport. For the first time in a lifetime of travel, I missed a plane. My jaw slacked a little bit as I was told that my passageway to sunny California for the Queer Astrology conference was shut—and it couldn’t be […]

epic eclipse horoscopes for october 20 – october 26, 2014   Last week, I talked about Mercury’s cazimic re-birth in the heart or throne room of Sun. This coming week is Venus’ turn, but it’s a superior conjunction during a solar/new moon eclipse in Scorpio. Um, can you say INTENSE, kids?! (Fittingly this is a […]

The Bloody Moon: Tetrad Eclipse, part deux

“Eclipse” Horoscopes for October 6 – October 12, 2014 Eclipse season is about to begin, starting on Wednesday. As I’ve mentioned before, eclipses are like shots of espresso: they take a little while to kick in and kick you up. Nevertheless, kick they do. People have historically feared them, because eclipses denoted change. Change in more […]

How not to end up a “Skewpio”

I don’t know anything about dude running, but he’s clearly attempting to portray himself as a European classical idea of Jesus Christ,  according to a Detroit TV station. I guess he’s taking “he who endureth til the end” to a whole new level. And that got me reflective on yesterday’s eclipse and the other […]

Horoscopes, to get you thinking about & with Thursday’s solar eclipse

Last week, on twitter, I talked about one of the key purposes of astrology was “consideration.” I broke down how the word consider has its origins in Latin with the prefix “con” for with and “sidere” or “sidus” for stars.  So to consider something is to think with one’s stars.  Around eclipses, people tend to […]
